▶ Total Lunar Eclipse of 2014 Apr 15 — Greatest Eclipse: 07:45:40 UTC — first of four consecutive total lunar eclipses in 2014 and 2015 (see Lunar Eclipse Tetrads) • At the instant of greatest eclipse (07:45:40 UT) the Moon lies at the zenith for a point in the South Pacific about 3000 km southwest of the Galapagos Islands • Ecliptic Conjunction = 07:42:17.6 UTC: Sun ♈25°16′ ☍ Moon ♎25°16′ : Aries 25-26° A man possessed of more gifts than he can hold / Libra 25-26° An eagle and a large white dove change into each other.

▶ The Lunar Eclipse in 25 Aries\Libra: October 18, 2013 — {Penumbral Lunar Eclipse of 2013 Oct 18 • Ecliptic Conjunction = 23:37:39.6 UTC: Sun ♎25°45′ ☍ Moon ♈25°45′ : Libra 25-26° An eagle and a large white dove change into each other / Aries 25-26° A man possessed of more gifts than he can hold.}

▶ Mercury into Aries: Moving Messages — Here's some curious timing -- Aries' ruler Mars is at perigee (its closest point to Earth) on April 14th… But what's fascinating is that's the day -- April 14th -- that Mercury takes on the cardinal grand cross. It's also the eve of the Libra Full Moon and total lunar eclipse (April 15th). • Molly's Grand Cross

▶ The 2014 Mutable Grand Cross and April Eclipses — The April 15 total lunar eclipse begins a tetrad pattern in which parts of North America will see four total lunar eclipses taking place in a row over the next two years. The lunar eclipse tetrad has been called a Blood Moon which I wrote about extensively in my March 16 blog post titled Lions and Tigers and Blood Moons, Oh My!

▶ A Tetrad of Lunar Eclipses — "The most unique thing about the 2014-2015 tetrad is that all of them are visible for all or parts of the USA," says longtime NASA eclipse expert Fred Espenak.

[11:52 PM 4/14/2014] WOW. Viewing conditions for the eclipse stellar at Palm Springs. At 11pm, moon certainly looked like it was up to something: left limbage getting darker. [Note: add (14024) Procol Harum to list.] Just checked and — it's eclipsing!

What's interesting about the Perth charts: (26) Proserpina, (399) Persephone & hypothetical Proserpina (h57 for Astrodienst charts) — all are under the horizon. Wescott keywords: Persephone is about "how you handle transitions and the rites of passage in your life" & Proserpina "the conditions you attract as you approach a transition or separation". So I shouldn't be too surprised the excel wordsheet generating these daily astroschyzies had a complete makeover (yes, you can nest multiple SUBSTITUTEs, yai excel-nerd-me!). What I really want these posts to focus on is the timing and structure of the Grand Cardinal Cross. Because it's a timing issue. So there's a lot of charts to post and whatnot as this eclipse transforms itself.
