Kara or Chole should win. at first, didn't think Kara had what it took to be a major designer, but she's hanging in there doing great work; no wins yet. Chole ... she's always spot on professional & so focused, with a persnickity attention to detail; two wins. Santino thinks he's all IT, but he's got two wins to Daniel's four. gotta admit it: Daniel's pretty talented. love Heidi & her bump, Tim's fluttery concern & ominous tone.

Shoemaker, named for Canadian astrophotographer Jack Newton & his wife Alice. Shoemaker holds the record for most comets discovered (32 comets & 800+ asteroids); co-discover (with husband Eugene M. Shoemaker & David Levy) of Comet Shoemaker-Levy 9, which spectacularly collided with Jupiter in 1994.
pps. #10148-SHIRASE, discovered 14-Apr-1991 by prolific Japanese astronomer Satoru Otomo; probably named for Japanese Antarctica explorer Nobu Shirase (Shirase Glacier & Shirase Coast also named in his honor) & Japanese icebreaker MS Shirase. icebreakers must have "an ice strengthened hull, an ice clearing shape, and the power to push through".
