i hate Santino! yes yes ... i'm hooked on my first reality show, Project Runway. Kara or Chole should win. at first, didn't think Kara had what it took to be a major designer, but she's hanging in there doing great work; no wins yet. Chole ... she's always spot on professional & so focused, with a persnickity attention to detail; two wins. Santino thinks he's all IT, but he's got two wins to Daniel's four. gotta admit it: Daniel's pretty talented. love Heidi & her bump, Tim's fluttery concern & ominous tone.

who's in :: #13770-COMMERSON (naturalist; noble savage concept); #7649-BOUGAINVILLE (master & commander; "bougainvillea" named by Commerson in his honor); #652-JUBILATRIX (Jubanladace, one of Dee's angels; guardian of all public & national enterprises); #25893-SUGIHARA (paragon of diplomacy); #26908-LEBESGUE (integration theory) & #4167-RIEMANN (higher dimensions).

ps. A&E showed 4-5 back-to-back season two episodes monday of 24. so here's jack: #30840-JACKALICE, discovered 15-Apr-1991 by Carolyn S. Shoemaker, named for Canadian astrophotographer Jack Newton & his wife Alice. Shoemaker holds the record for most comets discovered (32 comets & 800+ asteroids); co-discover (with husband Eugene M. Shoemaker & David Levy) of Comet Shoemaker-Levy 9, which spectacularly collided with Jupiter in 1994.

pps. #10148-SHIRASE, discovered 14-Apr-1991 by prolific Japanese astronomer Satoru Otomo; probably named for Japanese Antarctica explorer Nobu Shirase (Shirase Glacier & Shirase Coast also named in his honor) & Japanese icebreaker MS Shirase. icebreakers must have "an ice strengthened hull, an ice clearing shape, and the power to push through". See also: anime TV series Battle Programmer Shirase & character Akira Shirase, "performing strange computer-related hacking/security jobs"; Tetris variants, specifically, The Grand Master 3 - Terror Instinct, hardcore "Shirase Mode" ... features tetriminoes falling even faster than its predecessor's Death Mode. At the last levels, players are required to process speeds of nearly 3 tetrominoes per second.
